WARRANTY INFORMATION

JGH Limited 12-Month Warranty

This policy is effective as of June 1st, 2024.

The warranty is automatically registered from the date the customer receives their e-scooter. During the warranty period, if you encounter any issues related to the construction or mechanical features of your JGH e-scooter, please contact question@jghsport.com to initiate a warranty claim. Our support team will assist in diagnosing the issue and finding the best resolution to ensure your scooter operates properly.

If any damage occurs due to part quality issues, JGH will provide the necessary replacement parts along with detailed instructions for safe installation.


WHAT IS NOT COVERED BY THE WARRANTY

  • Damage caused by collisions.
  • Damage resulting from improper use, overloading, or storage in unsafe environments.
  • Battery damage caused by immersion in water, heavy rain, or similar conditions.
  • Damage caused by lack of proper maintenance during periods of non-use.
  • Any modification to the scooter, including unauthorized alterations to internal wiring or components.
  • Issues with scooters transferred to third parties or purchased from unauthorized platforms.

All JGH e-scooters are protected under this warranty for the original owner against manufacturing defects.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Modified scooters and batteries are excluded from the 12-month warranty.

HOW TO FILE A WARRANTY CLAIM

1. Limited Warranty Claims

  • The warranty begins on the date the e-scooter is delivered to the customer and ends when the specified period expires. Warranty eligibility is non-transferable.
  • Contact question@jghsport.com or reach out via live chat on our website.
  • Please provide your order number, proof of purchase, and photos or videos of the issue to help us diagnose the problem.

IMPORTANT:

  • JGH will not replace any part without first reviewing photos or videos of the issue.
  • Damage caused by collisions is not covered under warranty.

2. Shipping Damage Claims

  • If your product is damaged during shipping, contact us within 7 days of receiving the item. Please provide photos or videos of the damage. Claims filed after 7 days will not be accepted.

3. Costs

  • Required replacement parts and their shipping costs are free if you can repair the scooter at home.
  • JGH is expanding its network of service centers, and labor costs at our centers are free. However, customers must cover the cost of shipping the scooter to our repair centers.

TERMS OF THE LIMITED WARRANTY

This warranty does not imply that the scooter is indestructible or will last indefinitely. It ensures coverage under the terms specified here.

The warranty is void if the scooter is subjected to abuse, neglect, improper repairs, unauthorized modifications, or accidents. Normal wear and tear, including fatigue damage to the frame, is not covered. Fatigue is considered a normal consequence of regular use and is the owner’s responsibility to inspect for.

The warranty excludes damage caused by improper assembly, lack of maintenance, or the use of incompatible parts and accessories.

During the warranty period, JGH will repair or replace defective frames or components with the same or similar parts available at the time.

This warranty provides specific legal rights. Additional rights may vary depending on state or country laws.


SPECIFIC WARRANTY TERMS FOR E-SCOOTERS

This warranty applies to essential components such as the scooter frame, motor, battery, display, and controller, provided they have been used under normal conditions and maintained as per the manual.

Electrical component corrosion is not covered under the warranty. To prevent corrosion, keep electrical contacts clean and dry, and consider using electrical contact cleaner or terminal grease in harsh weather conditions.

Q: I crashed my scooter. Can I file a warranty claim?
A: Unfortunately, damages caused by crashes or accidents are not covered under the warranty. The warranty is designed to cover manufacturing defects only.
